The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 43 Coupe is powered by the 416 horsepower AMG 2.0-liter turbocharged engine mated to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission (MCT = Multi-Clutch Transmission) is equipped with a wet start-off clutch. The GT 43 is rear-wheel drive with a 1.6-inch-wide electric motor is integrated directly on the shaft of the turbocharger between the turbine wheel on the exhaust side and the compressor wheel on the intake side.
