2022 Cadillac CT5-V and CT4-V Blackwings Coming This Summer
The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, powered by a 668 horsepower 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine, and CT4-V Blackwing (pictured), with a 472 horsepower 3.6L Twin-Turbo V6 engine, represent Cadillac's performance brand. A six-speed manual transmission is standard with an available 10-speed automatic transmission. V-Series Blackwing models are built on Cadillac’s rear-wheel drive architecture and feature shock tower braces, an underside shear plate and thicker rear cross members to improve chassis rigidity. Tap Shift/Manual Mode allows the driver to use integrated magnesium paddle shifters to select a gear and hold it until selecting the next gear, up or down. Sport Mode provides real-time interpretation of driving conditions, adjusting the transmission to reduce shift busyness and improve performance, while retaining aggressive driving dynamics. Dynamic Performance Mode is calibrated to deliver track focused shift patterns and automatically activates when high-g forces are experienced in Sport or Track mode. Pricing begins at $59,990 (including $995 destination charge) for the CT4-V Blackwing and $84,990 for the CT5-V Blackwing. Reservations for both vehicles are open now with deliveries later this Summer.
