BMW X7 Starts At $74,895 In March


The first-ever BMW X7, with three rows of seats, comes in the BMW X7 xDrive50i with a 456 horsepower 4.4-liter V8 engine starting at $93,595 (including $995 destination charge) or a BMW X7 xDrive40i with a 335 horsepower 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine starting at $74,895, both mated to an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, with BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive. The all-new 2019 BMW X7 will offer a choice of six colors at launch, including non-metallic Alpine White and metallic paints in Carbon Black with M Sport Package, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Arctic Grey and Vermont Bronze. Three more colors will be introduced as of April 2019 production, including Jet Black, Dark Graphite, and Phytonic Blue. The New BMW X7 arrives in March 2019.

2017 LA Auto Show Video: BMW's Christian Voigt On Debuts


Christian Voigt, Product Strategy Manager, BMW of North America discusses the many introductions at the LA Auto Show including the World Debut of the i8 Roadster, i3s, the first-ever BMW M3 CS and the 2018 BMW M5 with the first ever M-specific all-wheel drive system, along with the 8 series, X7, iVision concepts.

The new BMW X7 Sports Activity Vehicle pre-production models have started rolling off the assembly line at the Spartanburg USA plant so the countdown has started for the final twelve months leading up to the production car at the end of 2018. The vehicle will undergo various tests under partially extreme conditions before launching.

The all-new BMW X2 and the 2019 BMW i8 Coupe will make their world debuts in Detroit at the 2018 North American International Auto Show on January 15.

BMW X7 Joins X Model Line-Up Made In Plant Spartanburg

BMW Group plans to invest $1 billion in it’s Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, and it includes manufacturing the BMW X7, all-new, larger X model, adding to the X3, X4, X5, X6 line-up being built at Plant Spartanburg which already exports, on average, 70 percent of its annual production with a 2013 value of more than $7.5 billion. The plant’s annual production capacity will expand by 50 percent from around 300,000 up to 450,000 vehicles by the end of 2016 creating an additional 800 jobs, increasing the total workforce to 8,800.
