2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Coming In Spring 2024
The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser, powered by a 326 horsepower i-FORCE MAX turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, is making its return to the U.S. market after a three-year hiatus. Land Cruiser’s new i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain comes standard on all grades and pairs a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with a 48-hp electric motor integrated into an eight-speed transmission feeding off a 1.87-kWh NiMH battery pack. The new Land Cruiser is 4.4 inches narrower and 1.2 inches shorter with an approach angle up to 31.0 degrees and max departure to 22.0 degrees while breakover angle reaches 25.0 degrees. Ground clearance is up to 8.7 inches. Limited to 5,000 units for the first two months of production, Land Cruiser will be offered in a First Edition grade that includes two new two-tone paint colors and additional off-road equipment and will be built in Toyota Motor Corporation’s Tahara and Hino plants in Japan and arrive in the U.S. in the Spring of 2024. Manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing will start in the mid-$50,000 range and be announced closer to its on-sale date.

This is the first Lexus PHEV assembled in North America and this powertrain will be available at a later date. TX will be exclusively assembled by Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, and is the first Lexus vehicle to be assembled there. The 2024 TX 350 and 500h are expected to go on sale this Fall. The new 2024 Jeep® Wrangler, comes in Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Willys, Rubicon, new Rubicon X, High Altitude and Rubicon 392 trims, starts at $33,690 (including $1,795 destination) and goes to $89,390 for the Rubicon 392 powered by a 470-horsepower 6.4-liter V-8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 4xe lineup is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged PHEV 4xe with an eight-speed automatic transmission delivering 375 horsepower, and 21 miles of all-electric range for 49 MPGe. Other engine options are the 270 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the 285 horsepower 3.6-liter gas engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission. New for the 2024 model year, is full-float Dana rear axle, new available factory Warn winch and increased 5,000-pound tow capability. Volkswagen ID. Buzz three-row Microbus, nearly 10 inches longer than the two-row European Buzz that debuted in 2022, sits on a 127.5-inch wheelbase versus 117.6 inches for the two-row. The new APP550 rear-mounted motor is a PMS (permanent magnet synchronous) design that produces 282 horsepower with a 91 kWh (gross) battery mounted in the floor. All-wheel drive is available for the three-row ID. Buzz at launch, with about 330 horsepower and dual motors. The new electric motor of the ID. Buzz increases the top speed to an electronically limited 99 mph, up from the two-row’s 90 mph. The three-row ID. Buzz is planned for sale in the North American market starting in 2024.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Coming Later This Year
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma, in its fourth generation, is powered by a 228 horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for entry-level SR grades and 278 horsepower for all other grades paired with the new eight-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence. An available six-speed intelligent manual transmission with automatic rev matching and anti-stall technology produces 270 horsepower. Tacoma also offers a 326 horsepower i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain on TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and it's standard on the TRD Pro and Trailhunter halo models. i-FORCE MAX pairs the 2.4-liter engine with a 48 horsepower electric motor integrated into the eight-speed transmission feeding off a 1.87-kWh NiMH battery pack. Two cab styles are available with either a 5- or 6-foot bed, a four-door Double Cab and a new two-door XtraCab features behind the front two seats. Maximum towing capacity for Tacoma is rated at 6,500 lbs. on SR5 i-FORCE and TRD PreRunner XtraCab grades, and maximum payload increases to 1,709 lbs. on TRD Off-Road. The all-new 2024 Tacoma will go on sale later this year with i-FORCE MAX models arriving in early 2024. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale dates.

The all-new 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison is powered by a 310 horsepower 2.7L Turbo High-Output powertrain mated to an 8-speed automatic providing a 1,050 pound payload and 5,500 pound towing capacity, ground clearance of 12.2 inches, power-locking front and rear differentials and multimatic DSSV dampers. Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Front pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert and IntelliBeam auto high beam control.
2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray Starts At 105,690 Later This Year
The first-ever electrified 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray with all-wheel-drive is powered by a 495 horsepower 6.2L LT2 Small Block V-8 engine complemented by an electric motor that channels an additional 160 horsepower through the front wheels via a 1.9 kWh battery pack, which is located between the seats. In total, E-Ray produces a combined 655 horsepower from both the electric motor and Small Block V-8. The 2024 Corvette E-Ray goes on sale later this year with an MSRP of $105,690 (including $1,395 destination freight charge) for the 1LZ coupe and $112,690 for the 1LZ convertible model.

The new 2023 Range Rover Sport SV is powered by a 626 horsepower 4.4-litre Twin-Turbo mild-hybrid V8 gas engine. SV-tuned settings are applied to the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, All-Wheel Steering, Torque Vectoring by Braking, Configurable Dynamics and Active Locking Rear Differential. Range Rover Sport adds a new 542 horsepower plug-in electric hybrid to the line-up with the new P550e powertrain offering an EV range of up to 51 miles. The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander is powered by a 265 horsepower 2.4L turbo gas engine with an EPA-estimated 24 combined MPG for XLE FWD, a 245 horsepower 2.5L hybrid with an EPA-estimated 36 combined MPG for the XLE FWD, or a 362 horsepower Hybrid MAX engine with with an EPA-estimated 27 combined MPG and 5,000 pound towing capacity. Aston Martin DB12 Coming InThe 3rd Quarter
The new Aston Martin DB12 is powered by a 680 horsepower 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine, an increase of 34% compared with the outgoing DB11, taking it to a top speed of 202mph. Power is fed through an 8-speed automatic transmission. DB12’s bonded aluminum structure has seen a 7% increase in global torsional stiffness thanks to changes to a range of underbody components, the engine cross brace, front and rear undertrays, front crossmember and rear bulkhead. The all-new suspension system features new intelligent adaptive dampers and an electronic rear differential which is linked to the car’s Electronic Stability Control system. DB12 can be ordered with a Carbon Ceramic Brake option. First deliveries are scheduled to begin during Q3 2023.

2024 BMW 5 Series Starts At $58,895 In October
The new BMW 5 Series has grown in length by 3.4 inches to 199.2, in width by 1.3 inches to 74.8 and in height by 1.4 inches to 59.6 and the wheelbase has been increased by 0.8 inches to 117.9 inches. The BMW 530i, starting at $58,895 (including $995 destination and handling) and 530i xDrive starting at $61,195, are powered by a new generation 255 horsepower 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine mated to an 8-speed STEPTRONIC transmission with shift paddles.
The BMW 540i xDrive, starting at $65,895 is powered by a 375 horsepower 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine, an increase of 40 horsepower over the previous generation. Production starts in November 2023. The BMW i5 eDrive40 (pictured above), with an estimated 295-mile range, starts at $67,795 and has a maximum power output of 335 horsepower. The BMW i5 M60 xDrive with a 590 horsepower electric drivetrain starts at $85,095.The electric motor on the rear wheels generates a maximum power output of 335 horsepower, while the motor at the front axle produces 257 horsepower.
The seats in the new BMW 5 Series Sedan have been redesigned with sport seats standard equipment. Multi-contour seats are standard on i5 M60 xDrive and optional on other models. The global market launch of the new BMW 5 Series will begin in October 2023 and coming to the US in 2024 is a plug-in hybrid system.
