Mercedes-Benz GLE Goes On Sale Next Year
The new Mercedes-Benz GLE has a 3.1 inch longer wheelbase than its predecessor with legroom in the second seat row increasing by 2.7 inches to 41.1 inches. The new Mercedes-Benz GLE will offer a 255 horsepower 2.0L Inline-4 turbo engine for the GLE 350 and GLE 350 4MATICand a new 362 horsepower 3.0L inline six-cylinder turbo engine with EQ Boost in the GLE 450 4MATIC. The Integrated-Starter Generator is responsible for functions such as EQ Boost and energy recuperation, while allowing fuel savings that were previously reserved for high-voltage hybrid technology. A camera in the overhead console registers movements of the driver's and front passenger's hands and arms so when a hand approaches the touchscreen or the Touchpad on the center console, the media display changes and individual, elements are highlighted. The system is able to distinguish the driver's hand from that of the front passenger, and therefore knows which seat the massage function is to be activated on, for example. The new Mercedes- Benz GLE will celebrate its World Premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October 2018 and will go on sale in the U.S. in 2019.
2019 Lexus UX 200 Starts At $33,025
The 2019 Lexus UX 200 introduces a new169 horsepower 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engine coupled with a new 10-speed Direct Shift Direct Shift Continuously Variable Transmission while the all-wheel drive UX 250h pairs a 2.0 liter gas engine with a new fourth-generation hybrid drive system engineered specifically for this platform. The 2019 Lexus UX 200 will start at $33,025 (including $1,025 delivery, preparation & handling). The UX 250h will follow in January 2019 with a starting MSRP of $34,000*, adding all-wheel drive, increased power and better fuel efficiency, for only $2,000 more. The F SPORT package is available for both the UX 200 and UX 250h. Urban + X-over (crossover) = UX.
2019 BMW X2 M35i Coming Soon
The new 2019 BMW X2 M35i featuring a 302 horsepower 2.0L TwinPower turbocharged engine comes standard with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive technology in conjunction with the 8-speed sport automatic transmission including Launch Control. The BMW X2 M35i is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. The new 2019 BMW X2 M35i goes into production in November for the U.S market.
BMW X5 xDrive45e iPerformance Coming In 2020
The new BMW X5 xDrive45e iPerformance combines a model-specific in-line 286 horsepower 3.0-liter 6-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine with a 112 horsepower plug-hybrid drive for a system total of 394 horsepower. Its electrically powered range is now approximately 50 miles, almost three times that of its predecessor. The specs and information refers to European models coming next year while U.S. specific vehicle information will be finalized closer to market launch in 2020 as a 2021 model year.
2019 Hyundai Elantra Starts At $17,985 Now
The redesigned 2019 Hyundai Elantra, now in its sixth generation, is powered by either a 2.0L 4-cylinder or 1.4L Turbo GDI 4-cylinder engine, and starts at $17,985 (including $885 freight charges) for the SE model which is now equipped with rearview camera with five-inch color screen, Bluetooth handsfree phone connectivity, and steering wheel audio controls. The high-volume Elantra SEL is priced at $20,285. SmartSense technologies on the 2019 Elantra include: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Driver Attention Warning, which are all standard on the 2019 Elantra SEL trim and above.

Mercedes-Benz EQC Goes Into Production Next Year
The new Mercedes-Benz EQC, the first Mercedes-Benz model launched under the new product and technology brand EQ and the first fully electric SUV from Mercedes-Benz, is powered by a dual motor electric drivetrain at each axle, with a combined output of 402 horsepower with an estimated electric range of around 200 miles. The EQC supports its driver with five driving programs through DYNAMIC SELECT, each with different characteristics: COMFORT, ECO, MAX RANGE, SPORT and INDIVIDUAL for an individually customizable program. Production of the EQC is set to begin in 2019 at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen on the same line as the C-Class Sedan and Wagon, GLC and GLC Coupe.
2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL Starts At $31,830
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL, formerly the long wheelbase three-row, seven-passenger Santa Fe, has a choice of a 185 horsepower 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder GDI engine or a turbocharged 235 horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a brand-new eight-speed automatic transmission. The SE FWD model starts at $31,830 (including $980 freight charges) for the SE FWD model.
2019 Nissan Frontier Starts At $19,985 Now
The 2019 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup, available in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and in 4x2 and 4x4 driveline configurations, along with a choice of a 261 horsepower 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine or a 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine (King Cab only), starts at $19,985 (including $995 destination and handling). The five trim grades are an S (4-cylinder and V6), SV, PRO-4X (4x4 only), Desert Runner (4x2 V6 only) and SL (Crew Cab V6 only). The 2019 Nissan Frontier gets a standard 7.0-inch color audio display touchscreen for S and SV grades and is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.

Audi PB 18 e-tron Concept Shown At Pebble Beach
The all-electric Audi PB 18 e-tron concept (referring to both to the Pebble Beach venue for the premiere and to the technological DNA it shares with the LMP1 racing car Audi R18 e-tron) uses three electric motors, delivering up to 201 horsepower to the front axle and 603 horsepower to the rear with a maximum output of 670 horsepower, with boosting, the driver can temporarily mobilize up to 764 horsepower. The production version of this groundbreaking e-SUV, named Audi e-tron, will debut in September.
2019 Acura NSX Starts At $159,300 Now for October Delivery
The 2019 Acura NSX is powered by a 573 horsepower Sport Hybrid SH-AWD® twin-turbocharged mid‑mounted V6 engine paired with a 9-speed dual clutch transmission. An electric Direct Drive Motor integrated with the engine and transmission supplements the engine with instantaneous electric torque. Containing two additional electric motors, the front-mounted Twin Motor Unit continuously varies torque, both positive and negative, to the left and right front wheels to enhance handling precision and cornering capabilities. The NSX's Integrated Dynamics System offers Quiet, Sport, Sport+ and Track modes. The 2019 model starts at $159,300 (including an $1,800 destination charge), an increase of $1,500 over the 2018 model with $4,700 in previously optional content now standard (4-way power sport seats, Satellite-Linked Navigation, ELS Studio® premium audio, proximity sensors and aluminum sport pedals). The 2019 NSX is available for order today with U.S. deliveries slated to begin in October.
2019 BMW Z4 M40i Coming In Q2 2019
The all-new 2019 BMW Z4 M40i First Edition comes with an updated version of BMW’s 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine, a BMW M tuned sports suspension with electronically controlled dampers, M Sport braking system and an electronically controlled M Sport rear differential. All-New 2019 Audi A6 Starts At $59,895
The all-new 2019 Audi A6 is powered by an all-new 335 horsepower 3.0-liter TFSI® turbocharged V6 engine mated to a seven-speed S-tronic transmission, 30 pounds less than its predecessor. New for 2019, the A6 will come standard equipped with 48-volt Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle system under the rear cargo floor. Power is supplied from the 10Ah battery to a belt alternator starter. Also new for this year’s model is the all-new MMI touch response® system with MMI search based on free text input and natural voice control where drivers can speak requests such as, “I’m cold,” to which the A6 will respond with, “What temperature would you like to set the cabin to?” The A6 processes questions and commands through onboard stored data and information from the cloud. 2019 RS 5 Sportback Starts At $73,195 At Yearend
The 2019 RS 5 Sportback five-door coupe with seating for five, is powered by a 444 horsepower 2.9 liter TFSI V6 biturbo engine coupled with eight-speed Tiptronic® transmission and quattro sport rear differential. Standard systems include Audi pre sense® basic, Audi pre sense city, Audi side assist, Audi pre sense rear with rear cross traffic assist, as well as available adaptive cruise control with stop & go and traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, Audi active lane assist and high beam assistant. 2019 Nissan Sentra Starts At $18,685 Now
The 2019 Nissan Sentra, powered by a 124-horsepower 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to an Xtronic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission which is also available with the 130 horsepower Sentra S grade. The Sentra SR Turbo and Sentra NISMO feature a 188 horsepower 1.6-liter Direct Injection turbocharged engine. The Sentra NISMO offers a choice of 6-speed manual or specially tuned Xtronic transmission. The 2019 Mazda CX-9, powered by a SKYACTIV-G 2.5T turbocharged engine that delivers up to 250 horsepower on 93-octane gas (227 horsepower with 87-octane gasoline) and mated to a six-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission, starts at $32,280. The 2019 Mazda CX-9 will be in dealerships nationwide in September.
Buick Regal Avenir Arrives This Fall
The Buick Regal Avenir, the top trim level as already seen in the Enclave and LaCrosse, is powered by a 250-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Buick’s first cloud-connected1 Infotainment System debuts on Regal Avenir, enabling embedded apps and enhancing how customers interact with vehicle features such as profiles, available navigation, voice recognition system updates and applications. Owners will now be able to personalize their user preferences and seamlessly take that profile with them into any compatible vehicle. The all-new Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan, available as an A 220 and as an A 220 4MATIC with a wheelbase of 107.4 inches, is powered by a 188 horsepower 2.0L inline-4 turbocharged engine mated to a 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission. Standard safety systems include Active Brake Assist and adaptive braking technology with Hill Start Assist and the HOLD function.
